PatternCalculator.com provides free calculation tools for crochet, knitting and sewing. We aim to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible.

Information we may collect

When you visit the website, standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages viewed may be processed for security, performance and analytics purposes. Our calculators run in your browser and the measurements you enter are not intended to be stored as user profiles.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Site Kit to connect supported Google services. Where enabled, Google Analytics may be used to understand aggregate website usage. We may also use Google AdSense to display advertising. Advertising and analytics cookies are only used where permitted and, where required, after consent.

Voluntary support payments

Pattern Calculator is operated by Gouda Select. Choosing to support the website financially is optional and does not affect access to the calculators.

Support buttons open a Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe processes the information needed for your chosen payment, which can include contact, billing, payment-method and transaction details. Information such as your checkout email, contribution amount, currency, payment reference and payment or recurring-support status may be available to Gouda Select for payment administration, accounting and handling billing questions.

Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout, not into a calculator. Never send full card details through our contact form. Relevant transaction records are retained as needed to administer the payment and meet applicable accounting or legal obligations.
